Cala Barril is a beach of reddish sand little frequented. It’s not advisable to navigate between the Illes Bledes and the coast of Menorca, due to the exisiting pitfalls. The entrance is obstructed, even for smallers boars, by a reef and rocks that extends from the south of Illa des Coloms.
Els Alocs respresents the boundary between the municipalities of Ferreries and Ciutadella. The coast between Punta Roca de Sa Sal and Cap Gros de Ferro is, in general rough, with slabs and loose rocks.
Cala Pilar is open with a gravel and sand beach. From the sea it’s best to approach the cove by de W. It has a reef in front of its W side, s’Escull de Sa Teula, and in a northerly direction and short distance away are s’Escull des Barco and s’Illa del Pilar.
