THE BUSINESS

During the 1960s, and under the name of Motonáutica Basilio, started the what later became Nautic Center, a business dedicated to the sale, repair and maintenance of boats.

In 1988 and with the entrance of the second generation of the family Sastre, the name changed to Nautic Center Menorca. Previously located at 108 Calle San Manuel de Mahón, the business moved to the Trading Estate of the town, coinciding with the growth in the services that the business offers its clients.

The headquarters of Nautic Center can be found at calle S’Esperó 16, of the Polígono Industrial de Mahón, where the business has 6,500m of space available, 1,500m of which is dedicated to displaying boats and accessories, with workshop and office space. A team of 30 professionals in the various departments - commercial, administration, mechanical, maintenance and cleaning - work to offer the best service to our clients throughout the year.

In recent years Nautic Center has acquired a number of warehouses in the Sant Lluís Polígono Industrial in Minorca, providing a total of more than 6.000 m2 covered and 9.500 m2 of grounds for carrying out all types of maintenance and winter storage work. Furthermore, the latest facility (September 2007) in this trading estate allows for the storage of up to 30 boats of up to 18m in length.

In total the business has available 12,500 square metres of facilities on land, as well as a floating pontoon in Mahon harbour with mooring capacity for 40 boats, and all the services necessary for sailors who choose Minorca as their destination or stopover port in Mediterranean waters.

Nautic Center exclusively distributes the brand Riviera, together with the brands Beneteau, Chaparral y Zodiac and is official service agent to a number of prestigious brands of inboard and outboard engines.
